Chef Michael Saperstein unknowingly began his culinary career working summer cooking jobs as a teenager in his hometown of Baltimore, MD. He has since worked at some of the country’s highest rated restaurants. Chef Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University in North Miami in 1999 with a degree in Culinary Arts. Since then, he’s honed his trade at Aureole and Park Avenue Cafe in New York City, as well as Cafe Maxx in Pompano Beach, Bistro 17 in Fort Lauderdale, and Gotham City Restaurant and Bar in Delray Beach. Chef Saperstein has been awarded numerous 4 star reviews for his cuisine and has also been nominated for a “James Beard Rising Star in Culinary Arts” award. He describes his food as “Seasonal Fare”, prepared with a modern French influence, focusing on exceptional ingredients and big flavors, with fun and playful twists.

After a successful run as a Restaurant Chef, Chef Michael Saperstein’s culinary passion turned entrepreneurial. In 2004, he launched Wine Watch Unique Catering Services. Since then, he has continued to spread his culinary talents through the development of several successful restaurant & catering concepts, including Rebel House, Charm City Burger Company, El Jefe Luchador, and Revel & Fetes Catering - which has since evolved to become E&M Culinary, Events, & Creative. This transformation was a necessary step forward to best highlight the full range of creative services that have become a driving force behind all E&M brands. Chef Saperstein and his long time business partner, Evan David, continue to introduce innovative concepts into the hospitality world with fresh ideas and inimitable execution. Currently, we retain a team of accomplished chefs that exhibit a vast culinary range, while maintaining the high standard of quality to which we hold ourselves. The E&M brands have earned many accolades while displaying an uncompromising commitment to a unique experience and savory, chef-driven offerings.
